Spring is in the air and I’m loving it. I’m ready to shed these extra winter pounds I gained and kick-start my spring fitness goals.

With summer just around the corner and the two 5k races I’ve committed to I want to be the strongest I can be. Not to mention we’re hosting our first annual Lexercise Pool Party for our members which is only 70 days from now.  Sure that may sound like a lifetime away, but before I know it that day will be here and I want to feel good in my bathing suit.

The goal is to stay on track with clean eats and get myself to feeling confident.  I have that winter cloud still lingering over my head and it’s time to let it go!

Here’s the plan that Alexa, my awesome personal trainer and the Co-Founder of Lexercise, devised for me (thought I’d share). Don’t forget to change up the workouts to fit your fitness level! You don’t want to overdo it if you’re just getting back into fitness after a winter hibernation.

You’ll notice a lot of walking/running in the workouts.  There is nothing better than going out for long walks or runs, especially this time of year.  The high mileage is to help get me ready for those races I’m doing.

Alexa also created the workout plan so I could do it anywhere!  All you need are shoes.
