Superfood Moringa Green Smoothie


Well, I wasn’t until last week, when Alexa said we have to try it.  Moringa is the most nutrient-dense plant in the world!  It contains over 90 nutrients and 46 antioxidants! It grows in the Himalayas and is beneficial for skin, muscle growth, energy levels, immunity, and stress reduction.  It’s also used to fight arthritis, cancer, diabetes… the list goes on and on.

It has a similar taste to matcha.  I made the Superfood Moringa Green Smoothie this morning, it was so good. I’m sure you could mix it in tea, or sprinkle over your granola or oatmeal too.

What You’ll Need:

2-4 leaves of kale or chard

1 banana

1 Tbsp. almond butter

½ – ¾ cups coconut water

1 Tbsp. cacao powder

1 tsp. moringa leaf powder

1 cup ice


How You’ll Make It:

Place all smoothie ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into a large cup, and sip with a smile!
